I feel and this is just my opinion that too much is happening to fast as it seems that side character and antagonist and all that are getting to show off without the main character doing anything and so much is happening as we’re already 77 chapters into this season and he hasn’t really improved much from the beginning and they’re not really giving him a chance to and now with his master showing up that will probably take a few more chapters and as this story can’t go without a battle for more than a few chapters I doubt he will get much time to really make significant progress as the enemies seem to be growing stronger than him and more and more big names are showing up and there’s little he can do about them and it’s showing so I hope that he can after meeting his teacher settle down and focus on improving as he won’t be able to do much with his power in fact even now it’s almost making him look arrogant thinking that he can do all of this and this and I say this because over and over again he’s been saved by his familiars and associates and sometimes just plot armor itself however this is just me not liking story that focuses so much on action but doesn’t give the main character any time to show off or for that matter to grow so he can show off as most of his fights he’s won are characters that are so much weaker than him that he doesn’t have the chance to show off or his companions have taken over the show
