Alot of details are missing .

Crazy how the mother thinks any of this won’t just elevate him in the fathers eyes. Like yes jacob proved he wasn’t just ass hiding behind proxie, but she is literally making him look like nothing in front of the patriarch. Sure you might think giving him luna’s mission is a death sentence, but considering what he’s already been through and unlikely rate of survival, you’re taking a big risk on the glory hed gain completing the first bearers mission, and Jacob still looks like Mommy’s titty baby.
