I can’t see the point of telling them about preserving food in cans. If the country is so far up sh1t creek because it can’t grow crops to feed the population, then having food in cans is going to make little difference. They’s have to be able to grow surpluss crops to be able to put stuff in cans anyway. And was it really a good idea to give them some of his ‘magic’ food to eat ? It wouldn’t do for them to find out what positive effects it could have on them.

I should have said this earlier but, the MC is lucky he is in idle Japan. If he had bought that much fertilizer in the USA at once, he would be on a possible terrorist watch list.
