The first interesting and novel character from this story so far.
Brunnack is the exact opposite of Aram. She saw her father and other men in her family and drew her own conclusions. She didn’t cower or get in line just so wouldn’t be disliked, but had the will to denounce the acts of her father. Unlike Aram, who just adopts someone else’s hatred to not be disliked, I can forgive Brunnack much more easily and even respect her.
A refreshing twist to this characterstereotype.
Very weird how characters answer their own question sometimes: ‘Can I really stay with you my lady? Ofcourse you can.’ Huh?!
Equally weird is Brunnack expressing her unseparable sisterly bond with Fia, but Fia is as uncomfortable talking with her as she is with others. Like she’s expecting to be abused by her supposed ‘sister since birth’. Another family that doesn’t tell each other anything despite claiming how tightknit they are. When Fia introduced herself, she wasn’t even seated next to her ‘sister’ and the Lady she serves as a maid.
This story is so nitpick-friendly. Lovely!
