Or after MC beats up the guy, the guy goes up to the reception desk, turns in a quest, and the plot twist was it was a quest from MC’s dad “to harass my kid in the guild to see how he reacts”
Just because it’s a used up trope, does not mean you can’t twist it to be fun.
Actually shouldn’t they report that bruiser. He tried to assault a Nobleman’s son. That is a serious crime. Prison or execution.
