… ? Why are the gods watching someone so foolish?
Really? A verbal promise from someone proven to have that type of character, and you’re complacently happy about it?
No appointing a supervisor, no contract, no follow up at all?
Really?
It’s like someone has 0 experience of the world except from justice-fairy-tales where everything miraculously works out and everyone is good at heart if just given the chance.
That level of naive thinking.
It’s more unbelievable than the fantasy elements, honestly.

there’s this feeling that one chapter, Corgino’s plans will actually work and Cain might either lose his position as Drintor or even die. (I overthink way to much. but I cant connect the dots.)
