so you can not teleport a part of an object, but can you teleport an object into another one?
for example the plate halfway into the wall? Or the plate halfway into someone’s head?

Define “part of an object”!
Define “not touching”!
See as always he will teleport people with clothes despite only touching one or the other. Given the rules he just said he either would teleport a naked person or parts of their clothes.
Where we are at the next problem:
Complex objects. Take a poket watch for example. Nobody would think twice if you define it as single object. And in a sense it is.
But it made out of tons of different parts more or less loosely touching each other. Some are fixed because it’s a tight squeeze.
Wouldn’t he only teleport the shell? Maybe not even the watch glass?
Ok, but what about things similar to a train axel, for example?
The wheels of a train and its axle are three parts (axle and two wheels) but the axle is (slightly) bigger than the hole in the wheel. To connect them the axle is cooled down (sub zero) and the wheel is heated up (almost red hot). In that state the axle is just slightly smaller than the hole and you can fit them. But once they have the same temperature they’ll never come apart, unless the wheel is broken in half.
Nothing but mechanical forces keep them together.
Are they now one or still three objects?
How will they teleport?
Ok, you might say, the discussion is for naught anyway. In this world are neither clocks nor trains. And I say but coaches are! And barrels. Aside from the content of a barrel it is still a bunch of wooden planks and iron bands. Which are locked on the barrel through heating the band up like I explained with train wheels.
According to the rules gives he only would teleport one plank of a barrel and make a mess (because of a leaking barrel that falls apart).
Chests and coaches have moveable parts that are…well … different parts.
Even stuff that is nailed together are separate things + nails.
Even glue could be argued that way! Though, glue penetrates surfaces and bonds things together. After all even wood is tree cells that are “glued” together.
Why am I breaking your immersion with logic?

Simple and sweet vanilla isekai. We have energetic older sister and a 3 yr old op dude just living his slow life, so no rom-com harem to worry about. Nice to read relaxing fantasy like this every once in a while
