Somehow, despite her size, the artist manages to convey that Yaku is the most mature of them all. Some of those panels just go so hard. The only girlfriend where Rentarou is outmatched. Even the other adults feel like giddy teens around Rentarou. But Yaku has grace, charm, and cuteness all in an experienced package.

I’m quite fond of her character. She has the romantic energy of a young woman, but with the wisdom and experiences of an elderly woman, and the cuteness to top it all off.
The fact that he’s dating a granny in the body of an 8 year old is twice weird squared but…doggone it, that was just so wholesome and cute. Can’t not like Yaku!
