Interesting! This implies that it’s Mei’s body that keeps her eyes closed, as opposed to her personality. Also, when her personality started getting upset (over the risk to Hahari’s body), Mai’s eyes started taking on Mei’s eyes’ features.
It would have been nice to see Meme’s face, but I know that will likely never happen.
This manga…never fails to “send me” (Where…someplace good). These chapters that feature them on the roof doing weird things (usually thanks to Kusuri) are always great for smiles, laughs, and sometimes character advancement.
And such great panels this time. Its fantastic that Karene and Hakari’s “friendship” is evident no matter what body they are in. And that Karene is a straightwoman even when she’s in the most non-chalant body of the group. Love it.
I also now want a spin-off series of Momiji as a kick-butt martial artist superhero with split personality issues.
