Its been evident since pretty much her intro which way Mai swings naturally, and her actual itnerest in Renterou was always a but questionable, but the last 20 chapters its clear that Mai swings in a Renterou direction first. She was an easy to dislike character at her intro, but she’s grown on me.
I would be fine with more of the Tom and Jerry life of Iku and Momiji, since in this case Tom’s suffering is what non-masochist call pleasure.
