Hmm, this is going in the folder.
Have now watched both the dub and sub of the anime for this chapter. Feel sorry for the dub VA since she is still fairly new and her Japanese counterpart is a legend. But I want to applaud the animation team, because they adapted this chapter (and really the whole manga thus far) amazingly. Including the weird walk we see Renterou doing in the first part of the chapter was dang clever.
But making Iku’s eyes light up with the pain she’s experiencing…the anime and this manga are truly the peak of the craft!!!
But Renterou actually declining her confession so she would get the dopamine hit of the rejection pain…every rom-com protagonist in anime history bows to his greatness!
