Re-reading these chapters and, I’m trying to recall if anyone kissed our MC in fewer panels than did our Chuni Bard with no music or lyrical skills? Because that…was a very fast move from intro to kiss. Well played 2nd year Junior high student. Well played.
But seriously, where does the author come up with this type mismatching? Does he have 20 sided die he rolls to get things like “low-energy gal with no self-awareness” or kendo expert with mommy/daddy issues but maturity? Or the teacher whose a bad fake American but raised a perfect Japanese cultural girl? I love this newest GF but since the trainwreck that was Chiyo’s intro, they’ll all been great (even grandma). Just such creative work done for the pure joy of making us look at our bingo cards and go “damn, I had chunni who was six feet tall and believed she was a dwarf, missed again.’

I was waiting for a chunni and…we got her. And she’s not a mage or a knight but a freaking bard (and a bad one at that). How does he keep giving us such fun and unexpected expected GFs. The bard chunni can chill with the low energy gal while having lunch with the sweet narcissist beauty.
