“Is this school of magic really that scary?” A young man named Arc walks through the royal capital, and today is the entrance exam for the magic academy. In a world where strength is determined by the school of magic, Arc, who has “no school of magic,” is still aiming to pass the exam with a positive attitude when he comes across a scene where one of the examinees is burnt to a crisp.
The exam task is to “defeat the other examinees.” The winner is decided—but the enemy examinee launches a further attack. The examinee cries out, burnt to a crisp, and townspeople abandon him and run away. While everyone gives up hope, Arc raises his magic and begins to fight.
The enemy school of magic is one of the strongest in the world, while Arc has no school of magic. Naturally, he is no match for them and is gradually cornered— But at the moment of defeat, when the final lesson resonates in Arc’s mind, a new story begins.
