I didn’t expect much from this manga as I expected the mc to instantly cure the elf waifu like a typical manga, but I was definitely wrong. The manga in its entirety is a slow process of developments with each chapter. Despite the chapters being one page, sometimes two, long, there’s a lot of groundwork done for action, conflict, or connection in each one. The manga is a surprisingly pleasant read that takes its time to develop the characters and solve the main overarching conflict. It may not be the most eye-catching due to the fmc not becoming this ideal of “pretty” immediately, but if you stick around, the wholesomeness will make those ideals crumble away.

It’s slow but there is a lot of effort put into each panel. Def looking forward to more.
I’ve seen the first chapter randomly on Reddit before, but only just now have I been curious enough to give it a try. The 1 page per chapter was a bit infuriating at first, but I got used to it pretty easily, and for this type of story it flows way better than a conventional multi-panneled style would’ve worked. It helps emphasize the realistic, emotional aspect of the story way better, and with a slower flow helps keep you grounded in the reality of the situation despite being a fantasy world. My only gripes with this manga is I wish there were more full color chapters, and more chapters in general because I’m entranced by the story.
