This chapter hit hard. Earnest regret is such a heavy weight to carry for 15 years. Not every story is meant for everyone, but this one was very relatable for me.

Hm, uh, I mean, the conflict was resolved. Idk what exactly I was expecting; well, I guess it didn’t really need to be dragged out. It’s just compared to the other problem’s mc has solved this one feels like a bit of a step backwards in terms of emotional depth. Ig I’m a little bit let down because of how impactful these resolutions have been so far, but for them to top themselves every new conflict would probably burn the author out, but judging from the comments the main meat of this chapter wasn’t a little underwhelming to just me considering everyone else is talking about Mc’s relationship and the new characters at the end. Wtv I’m still looking forward to the next chapter
