The Archmage’s Restaurant

It’s pretty good. It’s mostly a slice of life cooking manhua, but it has a bit of action and comedy sprinkled throughout.

It takes place after the MC gets isekai’d and drafted into the mage corps and serves his military time, which makes me at times wish the story followed the MC at the start of his military training rather than after the war ends. There are flashbacks to his military days which are really cool though.

The world building and characters are pretty good too.

Plots is pretty basic and often extremely predictable but it doesn’t do anything wrong and it’s usually not too boring.

I read to chapter 44 (latest chapter) and boy is it a cliffhanger. It is peak rn, soooo good. 10/10 arc and character development.

Art is fantastic.

MC is great. Good explanation for powers too

Only major complaints is that it teased a romantic relationship with a loli dragon girl. It doesn’t cross the line and only teased, and there’s a bit of blushing, but it was enough to be uncomfortable with. You can kind of glaze over it though, it’s not that big of a deal and you can disguise it as a brother sister relationship most of the time. Kinda. Also there’s a pervy dragon at one point, but it’s short lived… praying he doesn’t come back later.
