Come to think of it the FMC is shit as well like all that power and yet you couldn’t defend yourself against others. I thought her character would be like “I will rather Die than Marry Him” but no she is standing as a princess wanting to be rescued.
I get where Ellison is coming from better in this chapter, his decisions and how long he’s been thinking about this make sense. But the previous chapter and the one before just don’t show Ellison’s character; at least here I can sympathize with him. I think the author could have done this exact same plot point without making Ellison look like an inexperienced fool. Or at least, they could have made Ellison look like a fool for this decision (which he is) and make it make sense, not just randomly turning his brain off for the past 3 chapters.

Didn’t even have to read to understand what happened in this chapter 
. It’s so obvious that the mc will appear last second to interrupt the wedding, she’ll cry and the author will spend like 3 more chapters to do it

I’m so fucking mad at the MC bro, he’s ok with killing dragons and anyone else that pisses him off. But as soon as his girl needs him to stand up for her and support her, he acts like a little bitch!
Sooo… essentially the author is going to give us the flashback which will solidify the fact that they had a strong bond even before the chapter 1, right? The thing which we already knew long ago and which was the cornerstone of this whole story (until around chapter 60).
To stress out the point that Ellison’s behavior was literally unbelievable in the later couple of chapters. 
I see that the author is going full on with this idiotic farce.
Gonna skip the next few chapters. Don’t care for having my time wasted on this pointless mellow-drama when we already know how it’s going to end.
