Happy ending, but a few issues. Keep in mind I really like this series. I just have standards.
- Ellison losing all two of his balls and making all his character development go away just to come in as an OP mage and cliche save the day wasn’t very satisfying plotwise. Yes it’s nice to see Rurin happy but come on.
- I still don’t get why the truth of Veren stealing the marbles was that inconvenient for the black dragons to talk about because the black dragons were victims of it and as shown, the elders could have easily just done that from the beginning? No one even questioned them when the grandpa said it lmao.
On a positive note, the translators were finally able to spell marble right again

“The End” … or at least it sounded like one. Next up could be an epilogue, with their small kid running around them in the restaurant. (Though I’m quite sure it still continues, because there are some things, which were left open)
