Oh no… this kind of story has been tried before. And although it has some interesting aspects, it just drags on….. sooooo long with painfull backstory that has no value to the main world building. Because when you finish one book, guess what. You are done with it and its characters.
I’m liking the story but the Feed me books is kinda odd to me. Like what if there are just no more decent books. Will Mc just have to write more books? A book to my knowledge is just paper and ink (could be different in this world) but if its that he’s after the knowledge why does he have to literally eat the entire book if he’s a being beyond comprehension. Maybe there will be a point where he switches from eating books to something else cause I really can’t see it being long-term after say a decade or 2.
It’s definitely going to be a problem running out of good books to give also what happened to the previous user of the glutton did he run out of time but what about the information he consumed and why doesn’t the Mc have access to it

so its chapter 4 and gluttony is already refusing any book less valuable than an original copy of a book writen by an incredily strong war hero 80 years ago? how is he possibly going to find at least 3 books like that EVERY day?? 😭
