Ugh, the tonal whiplash and goofy way he is portrayed pretty much negates the personality his back story denotes he should have. It’s a comment I find myself making a lot lately, but why give the MC’S these tragic/badass backstories only to make them act differently for cheap laughs?
You can still have comedy without making him this goofy and unserious.
