The MC is honestly too arrogant and full of hubris to think that HE alone is the only one who is dedicated to fight against the gods. Over his disappearance of 66666 years, many brilliant geniuses died to fight the same war, some even more brilliant than him.
He himself proclaimed it that this one RANDOM artifact made by a “mere 9th class magician” is MORE powerful than his 3 signature artifacts. Says a lot isn’t it?
