I somehow made it to chapter 60 through much effort. How to put it, it’s engaging but not really interesting; there’s nothing that really draws me back to it when I break from reading like to sleep or anything.
If you’ve got time to kill and can blast through it in one session then feel free, as for me, because it’s been so arduous to finish it and I have to actively convince myself to continue reading it “because it’s only 105 chapters” (making it on the short side), I think I’m dropping, esp given Jimmy’s comment about how it only gets worse from ch 70 onwards.

Enjoyed this manhwa quite a lot even if it was quite rushed in the end and some things that didn’t get a good explanation.
Would still recommend people to read this

I liked this manga a lot, the plot was unique but the ending felt a little rushed 7.5/10

I like cultivator and isekai tropes, and Korean manhua usually do a good job drawing you in.

This story begins with a loser down on his luck and a martial demon master gets isekaied into our world as a spirit, which then leads them to work together to lvl up. Sounds good so far right?

Well… since korean manhua takes good ideas and remixes with their own twist, the beginnings are usually addictive or good enough to invest more. And if it picks up, it usually gets a 4.4+ on here.

It’s usually after S1 or 100 ch that seperates good original authors from lucky trash.

Sorry folks, it becomes trash after 70-80ch.

First half 4.3: its readable and binge worthy if you like the genre.

Second half (75-102): no one understands wtf is going on. Author got desperate and started tripping balls and praying to his maker for inspiration. Makes questionable moves with his good characters, which is dumb since he never really invested much into his thin side characters. 3.0 and dropping

The art is good the plot is acceptable and readable, and the characters are cool

SO, no reason to not read it, right? Well, not really. After chapter 89, we’re introduced to an author insert that suddenly appeared as the guy stronger than the main villain (King), but he appears only to die in the next chapter, while the heavenly master that makes MC stronger disappears.

And then, the king sacrifices himself to become a vesself of “Satan” that’s even more powerful than him, and new special people are appearing to defeat Satan when there was supposed to be only 3. Also the Satan guy automatically revived all the enemies MC beat before

Tl;dr. It’s good, but the plot gets confusing. Read if you don’t care about that

The art is good, but the story is not well developed. People just jump into existence with minimal backstory, making it hard to care about them. Sometimes it feels like characters are suddenly dropped in for the convenience of the plot.
