My bet for the Antagonist is in the commoners faction or the equaliser faction..
1. The commoners are always looked down upon by nobles (in Amy other story) so to level the playing field they do performance enhancing drugs..
2.equalists are per Definition out to bridge between high and lower status .. thus same reason as the commoners faction. Levelling the playing field.. also big booba elder looks nefarious..
I think the inferiority complex dude is low hanging fruits people would expect to do such things so he is most likely innocent
