Okay, I discovered from another site that the pages in this chapter, and the few chapters preceding it, are out of order. Which is why everything seems to messed up. Wherever mangaread got this chapter, their source screwed up. The correctly ordered pages are on leviatanscans homepage. Waaayyy less confusing.
His kid apearance is so strange when he is usung his sword, maybe it is his cloths (he lloks like a royal baby moving the sword up and down).
too much darkness, can not know who is using the spells…

Alright so there was some a lot of darkness and umm…. what happened.
So basically we had a bunch of panels where the MC did a bunch of random moves where we don’t understand their strengths or weaknesses and the enemy survived them all. It just looks flashy, but no substance..
The lack of choreography can be pointed out, but the art is still as stunning as usual for some panels. Today was more of display of power and less about the fight. Still good for today :DDD
Well, that was a chaotic mess. Author’s been all over the place for the last few chapters, jumping back and forth with virtually zero transition, save for a few exceptions. This kind of pacing may work for animation, but it’s very different when delivering it on a long-page comic. It’s harder to keep up with what’s happening while managing your anticipation of what you think is supposed to come next when you scroll down.
