My logic would say that the redhead professor and the girl going missing would be obvious who is behind that as the guy send letters that the compressed ether the girl use is not what the guy is accepting to be compressed ether and that the professor is protecting the girl. For the mc it’s not obvious to connect him in any way. It seems higher ups should know and other professors should also know about the girl and professor deal as how they search ways to get the girl to use magic. So after the girl used magic that was powerful and there should be others who saw it from distance and well other professors know that the release of magic from the girl and then they suddenly disappear.
But well that is all behind plot armor and well the people in all manhwa/manhua/manga dont have that much brain power for logic
