Ok…. so what? They know nil about their identities, absolute zero! Even if that threat made acting inconvenient they can oh so eaily change disguises as many times as they please, also their real identities are completely and utterly unaffected by the image of their secret ones, because no one knows who they are.
So this threat accomplishes 0, and that’s without taking into account the absurdly overwhelming strength of the MC, who can just choose to explode a city as he pleases if he feels like getting serious.
