I came for a soul tempered by hardship—sharp as frost, calm as falling snow. But now… I see only flame without purpose. Arrogance without reflection. The mortal has grown loud where once he listened.
The path he walks now is not one of wisdom, but noise.
Let the others cheer him. I shall leave him to their warmth. There is no winter left in this tale.

Ok… but why? There was zero explanation on how the orthodox sects or even the unorthodox sects in this world typically operate. Are they corrupt? Are they committing evil deeds and the demonic sect only rose up due to persecution? What sect(s) did these people even belong to? None of it makes sense. Did the author just make it this way because “dark side edgy”?

I hope the writing improves because this is very childish so far.
