Original was axed and they reworked into this long strip.
I just hope it will be more than 100 chapters.

This is my first time reviewing and might be my last time. Why? Because I know everyone has different taste. What might be a 5/5 for me would be a 2/5 (average) for many. But I feel like I need to do it specifically because its this manhwa.
Plot:2/5 (I mean everything is going fast-forward, and there is no need for a build)
Character build: 1.5/5 (Bro is already OP, but for other Characters is the story (3.5/5))
mc: 3.5/5 (OP)
Art: 4/5 (good art)
Overall rating: 3.5/5
Summary, its good. If ur ready to feel akward when reading it. Then have go.

Bro skipped everything and went straight to the top. Feels like the manhwa has not even set it’s foundation, looks like the direction it’s going is either the future (as in present day 2024) or conquering other continents. Idk, feels like it’s setting itselves up for something bigger.

Emperor Sword.
When I read this tittle, i was expecting schemes and politics.. but I get almost none in this one.. so upseting. MC is a coup-ed emperor who try to live in murim world and decide to leave his throne life.. with some spirits with him..
The base story is generic murim world except the part where MC is walking in both orthodox path (shaolin) and unorthodox path (demonic).
Im totally dislike the story telling in this manhwa. Its never even once the story become organic. Events just happened randomly.. people keep trusting their life and secrets to a total stranger(s).. skills and items gained.. etc. Its happened too fast.. lack of explanation.. dont even expect detailed story. Even the anchor story is just within 2 chapters(?) The MC keep reminding how he really wanted a “Free life”. This.. will of course become justification of more random things and stuff happen in the future.
The plot is so poor and simple. Schemes are so shallow.. it will be solved in within 2-3 chapters. Politic? Almost none.. yet.
Char build? So far its only “What MC bg is” and “How he obtained his swords”. Just it! Nothing more.. Skills and ability are instant gained.. even if theres a mentoring part, MC will just get it in his first try.
Art and its details are quite decent.. nothing to complain about.

This manhwa is so weak in both its story, plot and characters.. all its offer is just its art! I wouldnt recommend this one. It will.. probably.. improve from time to time but wont be in near future.

After reading all available 22 Chapters. I can safely say THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST! BEST MURIM MANHWAS EVER! HIGHLY ENTERTAINING. Great Potential.

Not bad so far, I’m actually glad that Koreans are starting to make more wuxia stuff.
I love that genre but it’s usually manhuas and that’s terrible most of the time
Read All Available Chapters. And I can confidently say that this is a 10/10. Very good, very entertaining read. The Artstyle is Great, the Fight Scenes are Great, the Story and Characters are Great. It’s worth the read and highly entertaining. One of the best Korean Murim Manhwa’s out there. I also here this is a Remake of an Old Manwha that got axed, quite curious. I may try and find and read the Original since this remake is good. 🤷
MC is basically a Coup’ed Child Emperor. Who is saved by his Beloved Grandfather’s Loyalists from his Traitorous Power Hungry Uncle. Through Some Imperial Ancient Magic, he’s able to harness the Souls of both the Heavenly Demon and an Shaolin Grandmaster. And he’s on his journey to reshape the Murim. Though I hope in the future MC meets back with his Uncle and maybe reclaims his throne. 🤷 Currently it’s all about the Murim, but we haven’t seen anything about the Empire.
