I was right on my read about Duke Harlow.
He’s definitely having a grand old time now that the wheels of fate is turning, and knows things are going to start going his way as long as Elma has a good head on his shoulders.
And to increase favor to Elma, Duke Harlow is going to start styling on Elma’s dad that threw him out like trash and dance on his grave once their low functioning family gets overthrown and replaced with his new Son-in-Law.
Damn that was a good scene. The creepy looking guy is pretty damned competent and a credible asset to his liege. I definitely appreciate that character but I’d probably dislike him in person, fool that I am.

the story is kinda slow and the premise is kinda suck and underuse. like one of the most fun thing in video game isekai is seeing mc go full goblin of loop hole within system and bulldozer everything. but MC despite all the build is just average(in term of in-world perception) so far.
but still i really like the goblin face duke, he have face of evil man and act like one but he is just ruthless competent and dutiful ruler and this is something that is really rare in this genre where the ruler-type character is either a softy or an A hole
I honestly think that the villus dude needs a monocle, his face is just shaped that way for some reason
