That organization preys on people with a guilty conscience who have given up on life.
Which means these two members so far aren’t even the inner core of that organization.
I think people seem to have miss the point of this back story. The point of Darren and the villain of the previous arc is this is what happens with an in-just system and people who don’t try to understand the system’s own contradictions. The end result is people either turn apathetic or get taken advantage by true evils.
