The class of dancer was revealed in the last arc with the material hunt. She has a “confusion” skill as well as a healing skill. These are the JRPG standards. One class that is reserved exclusively for villains and not the heroes is the “mind control” class. They can turn friends into enemies. Another class is the class of mimicry, aka real clones. For obvious reasons, the bosses are never equipped with these two because it could potential make the bosses too OP and effectively unbeatable. So they are usually the power of side or support villains.

What if Dream God’s Vanguard have someone with that skill or even multiple numbers of them. Or worse, ability to mass produce them through cloning. Our story so-far is suggesting that Kelt may be under some sort of mind control, thus he wasn’t able to fight properly in the last fight, just like Darren was in the last chapter when his eye sockets turned dark.

Unlike when this world was a game where the final boss are strong but not omnipotent, Elma has repeatedly reminded us that this world is different and doesn’t seem to follow the story line of his original world. His class might be the strongest in that game world. But, in this real world, his knowledge is starting to show their weaknesses. It is both an advantage and a disadvantage.

Anyway, if any of those other classes exist, the only class on the side of the heroes is the Fool class. That’s where Luchee comes in. She is the only one able to defeat a God. You see, as long as luck works, it is the most powerful skill of them all. Nothing can beat it. I think this is why Elma bought that luck booster potion as an insurance.

BTW, the guild master is the Dream God. She setup this event in order to meet the other two members. She knew about Kelt already because she was the one who leaked the Dream Hole info to him to pass it off to Elma because she knows Elma will want Luchee to get the Death’s Gods Assassin. I think her goal is the Priestess. This is because Priestess class has the exorcism skill. This mean she must not be allowed to evolve to reach that level. She is the only counter to mind control.

However I don’t think the guild master knows that Luchee’s class is secretly the strongest class, but Elma does. It’s a class that was first introduced in the Dragon Quest 3 and it was the strongest class in that game too because it can get promoted into SAGE. The SAGE class is a class that outclasses even the HERO in that game. But, its super hard to get to because you have to train a Jester class to get to the SAGE class. And Jester’s only weapon is luck. You can easily run away from fights in that game with Jester but it doesn’t increase you luck of getting items until in the later games.

Anyway, if you guys like story about luck as weapon. I recommend watching one of my favorite anime of all time: The Irresponsible Captain Taylor. According to him, “The key to winning any battle is luck. Luck gets you the 97% and 3% is effort that you put in.” In his case, that 3% amounts to facing the enemy head on without fear. What if I tell you that you can build your luck stat in this world, too? The key is to be like Luchee. Or be like Elma, just stick to Luchee and use her as some sort of plot-armor.
