I don’t know why mangas like this don’t show or insinuate that they fail these very lucky things at least a few times at first.
It would feel a lot less like there is plot armor, and it would make the reward seem even more valuable since they needed to put more work into getting it.

While i don’t appreciate isekai stories about game worlds, i do appreciate them when the MC uses their game knowledge effectively. Likewise for regular isekai stories where the MC uses their real life knowledge to improve their situation and their world (even if its just introducing new cuisine or devices like water pumps).
