Huh, so this is why Heavy Knight is OP. I can see it. Life shields gives a barrier which not only triggers power but gives a buffer so you don’t insta die. Not only that but the class is tanky as hell and has stuff like Shadow Stomp to create openings. So its a super strong shield that can turn into a massive sword on demand.
So he gets a giant damage boost but becomes a one shottable target. This also means that he is basically “do or die”

The sword saint would still have more, his base stats are 45 and 73 so 236 Attack after both effects, the sword saint has 95 and 34 so 258 Attack after both effects.
