He earned 930,000 coins of the currency named gold. That doesn’t mean he earned that many coins made from/out of gold.
In early JRPGs, they had a currency named G or gold. And likely in the Japanese version those were English terms. Not connected with the precious metal.
I guess their value was, if anything, closer to 1 yen. But mostly arbitrary.
That term then got culturally entrenched. And isn’t much thought about anymore.

First, u get the enchantment which lets your creatures all have haste.
then the enchantment which lets you tap a creature to untap a land,
step 1= then tap a land to get a squirrel,
Step 2= tap squirrel to untap land
Step 3= Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for infinite squirrel Army!
