Its kinda…. idk… too much information at once. I mean I get it, its for explaining the circumstances, but it basically read as “poor people are angry and jealous cause they’re poor and others are not”.
It kinda slowed the pacing way too much.
Also an angry mob only arises in the most desperate situations. Like commoners being so poor that they can’t even afford bread. Like what happened during the french revolution…. on the other hand nowadays the disparity between poor and rich couldn’t be greater, yet as long as even the poorest being able to afford bread and booze, they stay chill about it.
