The Extra’s Academy Survival Guide

Read until Ch. 14 because I can’t bear it anymore.

The story is as generic as any isekai. The MC goes to an academy, school life.. yadda yadda. But he isn’t even an extra. He keeps in contact with the protagonists in the story, which makes him more of a support character than an extra. Even in its original story, his character tries to make the main protagonist fail his test. Another proof of how much of a “supporting character” he is. Yep, totally a forced title. Or maybe the author is ignorant, I dont know.

Its storytelling? Ughh… Not only is it too fast-paced, but it also lacks details. Plus, the author often uses a mixed chronological storytelling (most of which is reversed), making the story feel partial, raw, and rushed. 70% of the storytelling is the author’s narrative, and 20% of it will be the MC’s monologue. It tastes more like a novel than a manhwa.  

Plot and schemes? It’s like walking on thin ice. It could look good, pretty, and all, but nope, it’s so thin, so shallow, with too many skips and too many holes here and there.

Character development? Theres very little if it. Characters already have their skills, traits, etc from beginning, which MC know and MC always spoil in every arc. The MC’s growth is more to survival skills.. more to camping skills for me. But one to borderline, the MC is a total pushover in a forced harem story.
The artwork is okayish. Its mediocre. Nothing else to say.

Overrated garbage. I don’t know why it has a 4.8 rating. Is it even organic? I even dont understand how a manhwa with a total pushover MC could be named “Extra’s yadda yadda”. It isn’t worth reading this one, not even for light reader. Don’t get fooled by its rating and even its tittle itself
