If I had to guess, I would assume it has something to do with what was said earlier, how humans can’t seem to use the Magic-Element in the world, so much so they had to create the profession of Alchemist to figure out new ways and methods to make the inhospitable world mor suitable for them. I also Agree, Karma works in mysterious ways even in different worlds it seems.
How ironic… hadn’t they reduced the MC’s budget to 0 and hadn’t he left because of it, he’d be indirectly responsible for the creation of innuberable weapons for war.
But him leaving reduced the quality of the primary ingredients used for those weapons so much, that they are likely to backfire on the users instead of killing the people they are aimed at.
Curious how people are immune to magic elements while beasts will die if they absorb too many of them.
