Rust, who was in charge of the Basic Research Department at the Alchemy Association, decided to quit after the budget assigned to his department was slashed to zero. With his newfound freedom, he decides to help with the development of a a frontier territory that’s under the control of an old friend.
If you get tired of all the technical gibberish like I did, just skip it lol. The story will go much faster. I like this one, but couldn’t deal with that.

Like the story, wish there were more chapters. It’s like what NAlex777v2 said, but I’m a sucker for those kinds of stories.
The art and the characters were good, although I wish we knew more about them but only time will tell if we get to know their backstory or not.
There isn’t really any romance…yet. I do feel like it’ll probably happen later in the story, and I’m sure it’ll be a harem (like 4 members, maybe more in the future).
I suggest giving it a read, and it was a bit short for me, so you could read it now or later, but it’s a good read.
it’s another of those ” My group doesn’t appreciate me and expell me”. Except for one detail. Unlike other pu5y MC this one actually takes the decision to quit himself, rather than the group expelling him.
He saw a better opportunity in life and took it.
That alone makes this a thousand times better than others MC. I’m gonna give it a chance and rate it after reading a few more chapters.
Seems pretty good, nice art, characters and it make sense. But it does explain away a lot with “it’s magic”, either that or uses “scientific” words incorrectly making the explaination actually worse.

Good art but but a chance for it to become the vile thing known as harem. Mostly because, LONGASS TITLE again and just read.
Also also, if you are one of those people who will worship a manga for art and care very little of the plot like SL being more famous for it’s art or a lot of isekai which have good art but bad plot cause of cliché and harem. screw yourself.

I’m glad I found this one after it got back from the slightly-longer break between chapters but it looks like chaps are generally a month or two apart?! That’s gonna be tough to wait for especially with that hint that just got dropped. Anyway, I enjoyed this story, it’s interesting and different. The alchemy is a bit pseudo-sciency but in a very fun way; the scrolls and graphics as he’s working are really cool.
Plus, even though all his associates happen to be female, thus far (thru ch 31.1) there is not even a hint of romance so no harem vibes whatsoever. Further, the women are clothed reasonably instead of in ridiculously scanty getups that can’t even rightly be referred to as clothing. (are you detecting my female anger at how women are often clothed in these manga? well you’re not wrong lol)
