okay, I took a break from manga and manhwa recently and went to web novels and tbh I really don’t like it when novels don’t properly explain the power system and just say “the MC knows more knowledge” man what is the secret, all that was said was that the rune was changed and that the knowledge isn’t taught until second year. Use these opportunities to tell us about the power system and do world building, the trope of the MC showing up and putting a brat in their place is also quite overused, espically when the MC is supposed to be very wise from their previous travels, why is he childish to the point to start meaningless arguments with children. Lastly this power system as I understand it is massively problematic, using calculus as a base for magic basically creates a system where specific spells are tied to real world calculatoins that has to be expalined. Otherwise it creates the superman issue where something is said to be very hard to do and the character does it but we as the readers can’t really care too much as we can’t really scale that difficulty.
