Ngl, I wish the mc did lose in this aspect, since this wasn’t his forte and you can see he was struggling the most here than he does with magic and fighting altogether. And he could’ve find another solution to find not only his friend, but also his student on his own instead of the school 😒.
But no 😐, instead he has to have plot convenience and plot armor to save his a*s just to get his answer.
Man lots of impatient readers here, honestly stories that hyper focus thier mcs are super boring. These chapters are giving some side characters some depth to set the tone for future chapters.
