This is where capitalism comes in handy, it uses greed, which is inherently a bad thing, and harnesses it in a good way, by doing this you now have a governance that uses greed, so in turn cannot be corrupted by said greed, unlike communism!

Hey, remember that one guy who studied for 10 years and argued that he deserves his higher salary? Yeah, he’s right. The number of people who are qualified for his job is fewer than the number of people who are qualified for something like hard labor. Due to the laws of supply and demand, he should be more valued than a laborer. Just like how diamonds would be much less valuable if there were tons of it everywhere (which there is, but it’s monopolized, search up De Beers monopoly), and their value comes from their (monopolized) scarcity, people are the same. Those who are more skilled deserve a higher salary.
Again, this is not to say that capitalism is perfect – those who live in America can clearly see the growing class disparity, and how a large swathe of the employed populace cannot even get a living wage, which is clearly ridiculous. However, that is, again, a different conversation. The point of this comment is to again bring sense and reality to the idealism shown here.
