I tend to be a fan of ‘socialism’ or ‘communism’, but I recognize that not everything that Marx and Lenin dreamed up actually works out in fact.

I have to agree with the people. First 50 or so chapters are great, but after chapter 70 something, I started to realize there’s too much mentions about how the capitalist system doesn’t work, and that it allows for people to trample on the weak
Now, despite saying that it’s very well drawn, and it actually disguises the CCP behind philosophy questions, so you should still read it, but it’s unsettling sometimes

Here’s how I take the CCP propaganda, the writer is Chinese and if he does anything that’s not CCP he would end up “missing”, so I see it as a fictional story where if communism actually works like it does on paper (It works that way for me because IRL its unrealistic and we all know how real communism works, so thinking of it as a fictional story about it really working makes it more bearable)
From typical dnd elven rebellion story to Communist elves, then have a working monarchy turned into CCP
And then forcing he’ll of different gods to do the same thing of taoism
