Panicking about fighting and killing… and calling it murder?

They are literally supposed to be students at a school learning to fight…. In a world that is used to such things.

That panic reaction is the reaction of someone who has spent their life behind a desk and writes a story out their imagination and other comics…
It’s a common trope about characters panicking but isn’t plausible in that world scenario.

However, in a world where people are training for war ….
Calm, rational thinking would be one of the priorities they would be trying to achieve after repetitive training.….

…And no one calls using lethal force in self defense as “murder”.

I like the story …but stuff like that makes it nonsense …and obviously written by an office warrior with sheltered life experience.

At least…
MC being brutal is a logical scenario… after a life fighting.

But the story is inconsistent.
