It was amazing but it gets worse the longer you read
weird for a Korean title to be this long…
Agree with the post below. I enjoyed the beginning as the world building and general character interactions were quite enjoyable. I used to be hyped for new uploads, but now I just feel like I don’t care about the MC or what he does. Since chapter 28 or the MC kept acting more and more childish in terms of his temperament and emotions. He was supposed to be an elite veteran who had seen lots of ppl die, but next moment he started being jealous of other children, and tried to place his own self-loathing and inferiority complex onto other characters (children) and tried to act self-righteous while doing it. Sure he admits what he’s doing is stupid, but why is he doing it then? Does he have 0 self-control? Why did he decide to mess with other characters as he did? He acted childish as hell and he felt nothing like the cool and calculated character he was in the previous chapters. I lost interest due to the lack of consistency in the character, and the author’s failure in writing an inconsistent MC who’s boring once his cool calculative self is taken out. The side characters are more interesting than the MC, but the MC has to be in the center of everything.
4/10.

Lowkey, I’d rate this 4/10. I’m sorry I couldn’t get into it, but so far it’s just self-insert, bad world building, 1D characters. I honestly can’t feel the stakes at play. I’m sorry I only read like 22 chapters but I feel like i’m wasting my time with this one. MC doesn’t seem to feel anything, is perfect, and is smart. Side characters are just built to like or hate him. None are even super enjoyable to watch. There’s the thing with his brother too. To keep it simple the brother is just irrelevant so far. He’s so irrelevant we don’t even get his face.
TLDR: I would not tell people to read it. I would not tell people not to read it.
WTF YOU MADE THE ENTIRE MANHWA ABOUT DRAGONSLAYING?!
STOP SLAYING DRAGONS.

Oooo cover change

lots of manwhas getting their cover changes today love it

hello cover change

I don’t know who translated the synopsis, but he should quit, he didn’t reincarnate as his brother, the real translation is:
“However, his brother, Aesir, a genius warrior doesn’t exist in the past world Rudd has regressed into.”
So whoever translated, thanks but no thanks…

8.7/10+
Read: 37/37+
Bookmarked? Yes.
I’ve been meaning to review this manwha ever since it was released because it was my dirty little obsession. Like how people had a bias toward Solo Leveling, I loved this for whatever reason. It’s a typical regression with forms of revenge/grudges that depicts and introduces characters extraordinary well. To note on the main character, he carries his grudges from his past life as he was constantly berated and obviously that has an impact on someone, even if they “start anew.” Of course, the mc benefits from his regressor knowledge but he struggles with relationships due to his innate nature along with the stress from his missing brother. What I really enjoy about this, besides for the character interactions, is the ability for the plot to move forward from issues while keeping them relevant. Despite how blinded I may be, I can also recognize some of the flaws: drop-off in art, lesser than good world building (It builds on what was established each time without explaining the basics), lack of constant action, and the initially stereotypical characters (they get developed further, but they can come off bland at first). Like I noted before, this is my dirty obsession; I don’t believe flashy art can ever make a story nor does the best world-building make a story enjoyable — as such, i don’t mind this manwha’s flaws. It’s a hit or miss depending if you can tolerate that. Enjoy or don’t, nevertheless I will.
Reading Rankings (Portnoy inspired)
10 – God’s penmanship
9 – Must-read. Drop everything else.
8 – Instant bookmark
7 – Entertaining
6 – Good to past time
5 – Why are you reading this?
4 – Bad.
3 – Typical garbage.
2 – My head hurts.
1 – Retirement is a thought.
0 – “Did they even give you a story?!”
i like Protagonists that don’t take shit from anybody and have an intimidating confidence. But this MC is a bit too much To the point where he’s actually giving people shit who don’t deserve it. And it makes him seem like an angry little man.
The story’s good it’s a classic regression type but manages to have a decent amount of originality. But unless the MC gets some character development it’s going to be a rough ride.
Side note: The MC Is supposed to be talentless and on the weaker side, prior to his regression so I’m hoping for a coherent reason as to why he now become significantly stronger other than the skysword stuff
Idk why these blind retards keep saying bad art yall are just spoiled the art is good enough

Why is this 4.8 with mediocre reviews???

Start’s just decent with poor art.
With every next chapter it gets worse.
At chapter 26 I decided to drop it, as someone wrote below:
The art is bad, the story is uninspired, the characters are shallow and stereotypical. Totally forgettable
I just have no desire to read this because he regresses into his own brother. It’s a premise I find pointless and boring.
