My brother in Christ, they have a forest that is choke full of various monsters, the unit is severely understuffed, undermanaged and have close to no funding coming here… How the f*ck were they going to do anything besides defending what they have?!?! 
This is shaping up to be a really good story
The only justification for “friendly fire” is when the unfortunated bastard upon it’s casted is a obstacle to the army survival.
