The sad thing is that this is probably how this guy got to commander to begin with: smarter subordinates that know how to steer him towards the most logical/safest conclusion using the promises of merit. If they weren’t there, how many would have died due to this idiot’s posturing?

I understand getting a high position if you have the right connections. But boy, doing that on the military is the most ret*rded decision ever.
