Knowing now that he’s that swordsman I feel he’s a lot less likely to receive THE or any teachings at all, and even if the mc ends up training him I think it will be different teachings more geared towards the sword
So this Syrus guy never looked how other knights around him trained or how opponents he fought in past moved but in this exact fight he decided to look? How stupid this story is?
Cyrus is almost exactly like Airen from The Lazy Lord Masters the Sword because they both only use the downward slash.

I this kind of stuff where someone suddenly awakens and destroys whole point of growing stronger. lLike MC trained like to have that power but this guy got awakened and now he rivals years of training. Ok he also trained but only in downward slash but how can he use other tactics now?
