From a story stand point the idea of having a world with gods bein the “natural” way of how worlds work sounds like very good writing. But as a casual student of history and mythology? OH F NO! Any gods are very rarely “good” outside of video and PRG games.
They tend to be just on one side and do things that a supervillains do.
