The Knight of Embers - Chapter 176
Comments for chapter "Chapter 176"
Damn, it’s crazy how consistently the author manages to come up with these scenarios, and make the main character actually act like a smart person would, without pulling out some overpowered abilities like many other works eventually do. In that split second, Nagyunn deduced that:
- Tamin was very emotional, and it was him acting angry on behalf of Cat. So he realizes that Tyr insulted Cat in some way, Cat did not retaliate, and Tamin is probably acting against her wishes here, out of anger.
- Since Cat did not retaliate, and Tyr looks hurt when she’s mentioned, the resentment probably does not go both ways, and Cat most likely cares about Tyr great deal and feels guilty about what she did.
- As Tamin is acting on his own, and what sparked his pursuit of Tyr was an argument between Tyr and Cat, they were probably all together, and Cat is right behind them, rushing to stop Tamin.
He also predicted that Tamin’s attack would be two-fold, blocking the first and leaving Tyr to block the second, creating a plausible cause for the “injury” he made up with Aucherguni. And because:
- Tyr is the weaker party here,
- Tamin started this,
- Only Tyr is hurt.
Cat is almost certain to side with Tyr and not the simp. Additionally, since she cares about Tyr so much, she’s not going to calmly listen to the explanations, and will simply intercept Tamin. Thus “I don’t see us winning” …but I know somebody who can.
Little moments like this is where this webtoon really shines.
