Im re-reading. It seems I’ve forgotten that in Chapter 10, there was a mysterious ilness nagyun contracted, he had subsequent unconciousness for a few days and that followed by dramatic increase in talent/power of najin. Now it made me think of a scenario where someone/something triggers a process which transfers the impurities within Najin to the Nagyun thus increasing Najin’s overal ablities while spoiling nagyun’s abilities and potential.
Also now I realized that their parents are not shown or maybe I missed a chapter where they were. And we still weren’t given have a flashback chapters for time where nagyun burned the whole village. Maybe it has something to do with lauzun (the green-eyed guy with the side-slash), some people might had been trying to find and retrieve lauzun or one of the twins, ended up causing a fire that burned the village, nagyun ended being blamed.
So I’m expecting nagyun to awaken some latent talent bit by bit. I’m not talking about superman/super-sayan level power switch but something believable. He already shows some symptoms of improving in the some chapters. But I’m not sure.
The latent talent might be what that masked guy said in one of tater chapters : The child of embers. since they are twins, they are both children embers.

I wonder if they will have a hard time convincing Whitey now. It’s gonna be hard for her to believe an apprentice blocked her attack.
